These Terms and Conditions apply to all grooming services, appointments, communications, and related services provided by Muddy Pawz Salon. By booking an appointment, using our services, or communicating with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Appointments and Booking

Appointments with Muddy Pawz Salon are scheduled based on availability. We recommend arriving on time for your pet’s appointment to help us stay on schedule and provide the best experience possible. Appointment times may vary depending on your pet’s breed, size, coat condition, temperament, and the services requested.

Cancellations and No-Shows

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you provide as much notice as possible. Repeated no-shows, late cancellations, or missed appointments may result in refusal of future booking requests or a deposit requirement for future services.

Late Arrivals

Late arrivals may reduce the time available for your pet’s grooming service or may require rescheduling. If you arrive significantly late, Muddy Pawz Salon reserves the right to modify or cancel the appointment to avoid disrupting other scheduled appointments.

Pet Health and Safety

For the safety of all pets and staff, you agree to inform Muddy Pawz Salon of any medical conditions, allergies, recent surgeries, injuries, behavioral concerns, or sensitivities your pet may have prior to grooming. Pets must be healthy enough to safely receive grooming services. If we determine that grooming would put your pet at risk, we may refuse or stop service at our discretion.

Aggressive or Difficult Behavior

You agree to inform Muddy Pawz Salon if your pet has a history of biting, aggression, anxiety, or other behavioral issues. While we make every effort to handle pets with patience and care, the safety of our staff and your pet comes first. If a pet becomes aggressive, excessively stressed, or unsafe to handle, we reserve the right to stop grooming services at any time, and charges may still apply for work already completed.

Matting and Coat Condition

Severely matted coats may require special handling, extra grooming time, or shaving in the best interest of your pet’s comfort and safety. By booking with Muddy Pawz Salon, you acknowledge that de-matting can cause skin irritation, redness, or uncover pre-existing skin conditions. In cases of severe matting, we may recommend or require a shorter cut to safely remove the coat.

Vaccination and Parasite Policy

For the health and safety of all pets in our care, we recommend that pets be current on required vaccinations as advised by your veterinarian. If your pet is found to have fleas, ticks, or other parasites during the appointment, additional charges may apply, and we may take appropriate steps to protect the salon environment and other pets.

Accidents and Pre-Existing Conditions

Grooming can sometimes reveal pre-existing conditions such as skin irritation, lumps, cuts, sores, ear issues, or other health concerns that may not have been visible before the service. While Muddy Pawz Salon will exercise reasonable care in handling your pet, you acknowledge that grooming services carry some inherent risk, especially with senior pets, matted coats, anxious pets, or pets with health concerns.

Emergency Situations

In the event of a medical emergency, injury, or health concern involving your pet, you authorize Muddy Pawz Salon to seek veterinary care if necessary. You agree to be responsible for any related veterinary expenses incurred on behalf of your pet.

Service Satisfaction

We want you to be happy with the grooming services provided by Muddy Pawz Salon. If you have any concerns about your pet’s groom, please contact us as soon as possible so we can review the issue and determine whether a reasonable adjustment is appropriate.

Payment

Payment is due at the time services are completed unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Prices may vary depending on your pet’s size, breed, coat condition, temperament, and time required to complete the service. Additional charges may apply for special handling, severe matting, flea treatment, late pickup, or add-on services.

Pickup Policy

Pets should be picked up promptly after grooming is completed. Delayed pickup may result in additional fees, especially if extended supervision is required.

Photos and Marketing

By using our services, you grant Muddy Pawz Salon permission to photograph your pet before, during, or after grooming and to use those photos for marketing, social media, or promotional purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.

Communications Consent

By providing your phone number and email address to Muddy Pawz Salon, you agree that we may contact you regarding appointments, reminders, follow-ups, promotions, updates, and other service-related communications. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.

Opt-Out Instructions

To stop receiving SMS messages from Muddy Pawz Salon, you may reply STOP to any message at any time. You may also contact us directly to request removal from marketing communications.

Privacy

Any personal information collected by Muddy Pawz Salon will be used only in connection with providing our services, communicating with you, and operating our business. We take reasonable steps to protect your information and do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Limitation of Liability

Muddy Pawz Salon is not responsible for grooming-related outcomes resulting from pre-existing conditions, hidden medical issues, matting, behavioral problems, or information not disclosed by the pet owner before the appointment. By using our services, you agree to release and hold harmless Muddy Pawz Salon from liability except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Muddy Pawz Salon reserves the right to update or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any updates may be posted on our website or otherwise made available to clients.
